Our Program

All nursery classes at Little Folk Farm are limited in size to ensure a maximum amount of individual attention. Teachers view each child as a separate individual, helping him/her to grow in all developmental areas including the alphabet, numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and social skills to enrich your childs experience and get him/her ready for kindergarten . The student/teacher ratio is no more than 6:1 consisting of a teacher and teachers aid. Our staff is flexible and experienced in taking its direction from the children's individual needs and interests.

The transition from home to nursery school can be a time of adjustment for both parents and children. Our staff is experienced in assisting both students and parents in this transition.

We understand that parent's schedules vary, That’s why we offer a variety of schedules for your 3-5 year old. Schedules range from a minimum of 2 days 9:00am-12:00pm to the full schedule of 5 days 7:30am – 5:00pm. Contact Terri Beaton for more details.

We feel children learn best by "doing". For this purpose, we concentrate on giving each child the opportunity to experiment, create, and satisfy their natural curiosity, using a wide variety of materials and equipment both inside and outside the classroom.
